Rate support or promo rate: what the Tahoe payment looks like
Take the 2026 Tahoe LT at $69,266. Financed for 72 months at the 5.9% top-tier rate: about $1,145 a month, roughly $13,200.0 in interest. The 6.49% promo rate on the same truck: about $1,164 a month, roughly $14,500.0 in interest, but no payment for 120 days. The difference is about $19 a month for the deferral; if you want it, we’ll price both. Bring a credit-union approval and we’ll put it next to the GM Financial number; whichever is lower is the one you sign.
What the fine print actually requires
- The $1,500 bonus needs Super Cruise. It’s a 2026 Premier or High Country equipped with Super Cruise (order code UKL on the window sticker). LS, LT, Z71 and RST don’t get it this month; neither do 2027s. The High Country in the table above qualifies.
- “Top tiers” means GM Financial’s A+ and A1 credit tiers. Roughly high-600s and up with a clean recent history. Lower tiers still get a supported rate; it’s just a higher one, and we’ll show you the credit-union number next to it.
- A payment deferral is not free money. Interest accrues from the day you sign. On a $40,000 loan at 6.5%, skipping the first payment for 120 days adds roughly $850 of interest to the back of the loan. Take it if you need the cash flow; skip it if you don’t.
- 2027 Tahoes are on the lot but not in the GM program yet. They’re priced under MSRP like everything else; the October 2026 rate offers and bonus cash are 2026-only.
- First responder and military are GM programs with their own eligibility. $500 each, with ID. They stack with the rest.
- Nothing here has a doc fee behind it. The offer comes off the listed price; there’s no second sticker, no “protection package,” and no financing surcharge to claw it back. Most of our vehicles are tinted; it’s a line on the listing, not a surprise at the desk.
Which Tahoe the offers fit best
Tahoe LS or LT, 5.3L
The family truck. $2,500–$6,000 under MSRP on the lot right now and the 5.9% top-tier rate make these the cleanest payments on the page. 8,400 lb towing with the right package.
Tahoe Z71
The one for lake roads and lease land: 4WD, skid plates, all-terrains, 2″ higher stance. Seven in stock, 2026 and 2027.
Tahoe Premier or High Country
The only trims with GM money this month: $1,500 bonus cash on a 2026 with Super Cruise, on top of a Carter discount that’s already five figures on the High Country in stock.

Frequently asked questions
What are the Chevy Tahoe specials this month?
Through November 4, 2026: $1,500 GM bonus cash on a 2026 Tahoe Premier or High Country equipped with Super Cruise, GM Financial rate support at 5.9% APR for top credit tiers (6.9% below) with a 92-day payment deferral, or a 6.49% promo rate with a 120-day deferral; plus $500 first responder and $500 military offers. Carter’s own discount of $2,600 to $10,000 under MSRP is already in every listed price, with no doc fee or addendum.
Is there 0% financing on the Tahoe right now?
No. The standalone 0% and 2.9% APR in October is on the 2026 Silverado 1500 only. The best GM Financial rate on a 2026 Tahoe this month is 5.9% for top-tier credit. If your credit union is lower, use it; our price is the same either way.
How much under MSRP are your Tahoes?
As of October 12, 2026, between about $2,600 and $10,000 depending on trim and model year, and the exact number is on every listing. That discount is the same whether you pay cash, bring your own financing or finance with us.
Does the $1,500 bonus cash apply to a Tahoe LT or Z71?
No. For October 2026 it is limited to the 2026 Premier (1LZ) and High Country (3LZ) equipped with Super Cruise. We’ll check the window sticker on any Tahoe you’re looking at and tell you in writing whether it qualifies.
Do you have 2027 Tahoes, and are they on special?
We have 2027 LS, LT, Z71 and RST in stock, priced under MSRP, but GM’s October 2026 rate and cash programs are for the 2026 model year. If the 2027 is the one you want, the price is still the price; it just doesn’t carry the GM rate support this month.
What does the 120-day payment deferral really cost?
Interest accrues from the day you sign, so skipping roughly four months of payments on a $70,000 Tahoe at 6.49% adds about $1,500 in interest to the loan. It can be worth it if you have a trade payoff or a move to fund; otherwise take the lower rate without the deferral.
Is the price on your website the real price?
Yes. The Carter price on every listing is the number before tax, title and license, with no doc fee, no addendum and no market adjustment. Most of our vehicles have window tint installed and it’s shown as its own line on the listing.
When do these Tahoe offers end?
November 4, 2026. GM resets the program at the start of each month; this page is updated the same day the new program lands.

Offers are GM national programs effective October 1, 2026 through November 4, 2026, subject to change by GM, and require purchase from dealer stock unless noted. Special financing rates require approval through GM Financial; not all buyers qualify, and payment deferrals accrue interest from the contract date. Payment examples are illustrative, exclude tax, title and license, and assume $0 down. Carter Chevrolet charges no documentation fee and no dealer addendum.
