Vehicles That Chevrolet Should Bring Back from the Dead

With it being October and all, the boys at Carter Chevrolet are feeling a bit spooky-ooky-ooky. While we were talking about zombie flicks the other day, we got to thinking: What are some of the best vehicles that Chevrolet should bring back … FROM THE DEAD? Turn off the lights, bolt your doors, and see what we came up with.

Chevrolet Impala

Okay, we know this is kind of cheating because the Impala is one of the cars Chevy just recently discontinued. But if the mad doctor Herbert West taught us anything, it’s that fresher is better. And cars don’t get fresher than the Impala. Just imagine Chevy bringing the iconic Impala back as a high-powered premium EV. Somebody break out the re-agent!

Chevrolet El Camino

Smaller trucks seem to be en vogue again, so might we suggest bringing back an O.G.? The El Camino is what you get if you sort of Frankenstein a Chevelle (another Chevrolet due for a resurrection, btw) together with a pickup truck. The result is a functional, funky, and frankly fun little coupe utility that we’ve been waiting to see come alive, alive, alive again since 1987.

Chevrolet Bel Air

We know what you’re thinking: Sure, take the Bel Air name and slap it on a newer vehicle. Nope. We want Chevrolet to just straight up replicate the exterior style of the classic Bel Air, bringing in forward with better safety, more tech, and probably an electric powertrain. Kind of like a perfect alien recreation of the original. Chevy has a thing for setting trends, so we implore them to bring this style back in celebration of the Bel Air’s 75th anniversary in 2025.

We hope Chevrolet has a resident necromancer on staff, because we’d love to see these classic Chevy vehicles come back from the grave. Preferably without the rot and cobwebs, though.
