The Turbo Camaro Promotes DreamWorks New Movie at Chicago Auto Show

February 15th, 2013 by

A new Chevy Camaro appeared on the showroom floor of the Chicago Auto Show drawing a large crowd to its massive and menacing body.  The Turbo Camaro features parts from both the Camaro ZL1 and the COPO racing Camaro.  The result is a menacing racing machine, with a supercharged V8 engine that delivers over 700 hp.

The exterior is wrapped with vinyl chrome painted black and has custom multicolor LED lighting that causes a halo effect on the front and rear of the Camaro.  Outfitted with lower rockers, a custom front splitter, fender flares and a massive rear wing, the Turbo Camaro has a purely exaggerated, or should I say “DreamWorks” kind of image.

But of course it has a “DreamWorks” image, the Turbo Camaro was custom designed for DreamWorks’ new racing movie.  It is based off a speed seeking snail, named Turbo of course, that wants to race in the Indy500.

The movie will open on July 19, 2013, and our staff at Carter Chevrolet is excited to see the turbocharged Camaro and snail take on the big screen!
