Secret Pictures – Chevy Bolt Spotted by Photographers

Chevy Bolt

The Chevy Bolt is the electric descendant of GM’s EV1, and a close relative of the Chevrolet Volt. The Bolt is also a highly anticipated vehicle going into production in 2016.

However, the long-awaited 2017 Chevy Bolt was spotted by photographers before its 2016 release date. The Bolt was shown as a surprise concept at the 2015 North American International Auto Show, but has been further developed since then. Design of the vehicle appears to have adopted a floating-canopy look on the rear, similar to the look of the Lexus RX and Nissan Murano. In addition, the Bolt has gloss-black trim, resembling the last-generation Volt.

The Chevrolet Bolt has been confirmed to have a 200 mile range with a baseline price of $30,000. Chevrolet plans to sell the Bolt in all 50 states, being more accessible than the current Tesla competition.

We here at Carter Chevrolet are excited to see the pictures of the new Bolt and are counting down the days until we can see it in person! Are you?
