New Chevrolet Colorado in the Works
Yes, you read correctly! The Chevrolet Colorado seemed like a long-lost pickup when it didn’t make the cut for a 2013 model, but fear no more. Last week, General Motors released the first glimpse of the soon-approaching midsize pickup truck from Chevrolet: the new and improved Colorado.
Although only a photo of its “nose” was released, hype has certainly been created with the anticipation of the new midsize pickup truck. Along with the Colorado is its seemingly similar midsize partner, the GMC Canyon. Not much is known about either truck at this point, except that they are expected to be highly fuel-efficient and versatile, which is what we would expect from Chevrolet and GMC. Production will start sometime next year at the GM Wentzville, Missouri assembly center.
This is truly a spectacle seeing as how trucks these days are getting larger and larger. We’ve seen many midsize and small pickups be discontinued, so a new Chevrolet Colorado will be refreshing to the pickup market. What do you think? Are you ready for the newly enhanced Chevy Colorado?
