Crazy Concept at Shanghai: Chevy FNR Images Show Car of the Future

April 24th, 2015 by

A lot of products are getting their big premiere at the Shanghai Auto Show, from brand new lines and upgraded models to infotainment and safety programs. However, one concept model from Chevrolet stands out very clearly as the most jarring: the Chevy FNR concept.

The FNR concept isn’t easy to describe. It looks like some sort of Batmobile of the future ripped straight out of a video game. Its status as a totally autonomous electric vehicle adds to the futuristic vibe.

Plus, there’s something about the blue leading lines and the sharp angles that reminds us of ice. The semi-transparent dragonfly doors definitely don’t take away from that icy appearance.

Needless to say, the Chevrolet FNR concept probably won’t be heading straight to production and then to a dealership near you. But hey, this concept reveal in Shanghai is a huge step in that direction.

Here are a bunch of Chevy FNR images, so you can check it out for yourself by clicking the link. What do you think of this concept? Let us know in the comments! We here at Carter Chevrolet think it’s pretty awesome!
