Chevy Expands CNG Capability to 2015 Silverado

We here at Carter Chevrolet Agency, LLC know all about CNG-capable vehicles and how they can help both driver and the environment. Compressed natural gas is affordable, it is found right here in America, it is clean, and it’s definitely abundant. We were pleased to hear that Chevrolet has decided to greatly expand the availability of bi-fuel versions of the new 2015 Silverado 2500HD and 3500HD so that a growing number of interested customers have the choice of cleaner, more efficient CNG models.

Vehicles with CNG-capability can also help out businesses greatly. “For companies and municipalities that maintain multiple trucks in their fleet, the fuel cost savings of CNG can really add up in a year,” says Ed Peper, Vice President of General Motors Fleet and Commercial (U.S.). Currently, compressed natural gas is priced about 62% less per gallon than regular gasoline. Think about how much a company could save with CNG-capable work trucks.

The CNG option will be available on all 2015 Silverado 2500HD and 3500HD models with singe rear wheels. You can look for these models to go on sale this coming July, right here at Carter Chevrolet.
