Chevrolet Working on 2015 Impala Midnight Edition
A sedan Batman would be proud to drive, a Midnight Edition of the 2015 Chevrolet Impala is in the works. The blacked-out features give off a dark, sinister and intimidating aura.
Chevrolet is trying to get the 2015 Impala Midnight Edition built by this model year. The concept only debuted a month ago at the Las Vegas Auto Show. The goal is to get this into production in four to five months.
“Blacked-out is a huge trend,” commented Steve Majoros, Chevrolet’s marketing director for cars and crossovers. “You see so many smoked gray wheels, black wheels.”
The main features are a black grille surround, rear spoiler, painted mirror caps and 19-inch aluminum wheels. The interior also conveys that power with all-black, leather-trimmed interior and even possibly custom trim plates with wire-mesh patterning.
The concept car featured a 3.6-liter V6 engine with 305 horsepower and 264 lb-ft of torque.
The vehicle is gorgeous and sleek and we here at Carter Chevrolet are very excited to see how it develops.
