Chevrolet Voice Commands
At first, your Chevy’s Voice Commands can seem like something out of a sci-fi movie, but you’ll quickly find that they’re easy and convenient to use. Here’s what you need to know to get started with your Chevrolet’s voice command system.
Voice command basics
It’s easy to activate the voice command system — just hit the Push to Talk button on your vehicle’s touch screen or steering wheel. After a moment, you’ll hear a beep. That’s your cue to speak a voice command.
Call someone
Make a phone call without taking your eyes off the road. Just activate the voice command system and say, “call,” along with the name of the person saved in your contacts. You can also tell the system “dial,” followed by the recipient’s full phone number.
Enjoy your favorite tunes
Chevy makes it easy to rock out to the radio or your favorite playlists. To access a radio station, just activate the voice command system and say, “tune to,” along with the station’s call sign or number. For easy access to your music library, connect your device with Bluetooth® or a USB cable. Then, start up the voice command system and say, “play,” followed by the name of the song, artist, playlist, or album you want to hear.
Take the hassle out of navigation
Forget fumbling with huge, crinkly maps. With a navigation-equipped Chevrolet, getting to your destination is a breeze. Just hit the button, wait for the beep, and say “navigation.” For your next command, call out your destination’s address, intersection, or contact information. You can even name a specific point of interest.
