Chevrolet Updates Lineup for 2013
General Motors announced that its largest brand, Chevrolet, will feature thirteen new or updated models in 2013. Some news has been released about the majority of Chevrolet’s 2014 lineup, but the brand has allotted room for some “complete surprises.”
We already know the 2014 Chevrolet Impala and Malibu are completely redesigned and will be released early in the year. We also know the Chevrolet will release an SS model popularly sold in Australia. We know a little bit more, but the rest are up for rumors to tell.
Chevrolet may be introducing a new hatchback to North America. They are sold in various European markets and are anxiously awaiting a US release. The auto manufacturer has also left the window open for a plug-in hybrid or the eAssist mild hybrid system.
Redesigned models are likely to include the Cruze, Equinox, Silverado, Sonic, Spark, Tahoe, and Traverse. There is still no word on whether or not Chevrolet will redesign the Corvette, which was last updated for 2008 model year. We are also expecting some of these models to feature hybrid or electric trims with similar body designs as the regular models.
We are excited for what’s coming in the next few months and it looks like 2013 will be a good year for Chevrolet.
