Chevrolet Launches Special-Edition University of Texas Longhorns Silverado

Anyone who lives in Texas will tell you that pickup trucks are extremely popular there. Luckily, they’re extremely popular here in Oklahoma, too! To celebrate this fact and further stoke the pickup-loving fire, Chevrolet has announced a special-edition University of Texas Longhorns Silverado.

Of course, the other reason for the special-edition truck is the start of The University of Texas Longhorns football season. It features Sunset Orange Metallic exterior paint, special UT graphics on the pickup bed and tailgate, and chrome side steps. Click the link and check it out!

It’ll be available to customers who purchase a Silverado Double Cab in LT or LTZ trim, or a Crew Cab in LTZ trim, with the Texas Edition package, which will cost $795.

Since perhaps most of us here in Oklahoma and at Carter Chevrolet would rather see a Sooners truck, it’s unlikely anyone in the area will want a special-edition Longhorns Silverado, but we still find it pretty cool that Chevrolet will make unique trucks like this. Who knows, maybe the future holds a Sooners Silverado?
