Chevrolet Colorado Performance Concept Made Just For Motorcyclists

It’s a match made in heaven. You take the Chevrolet Colorado, which CarScoops calls a “maneuverable mid-size truck,” and the vision and enthusiasm of motocross great Ricky Carmichael, and you get a fantastic concept. We here at Carter Chevrolet were very excited to by the new model’s unveiling at last week’s 2014 SEMA Show in Las Vegas.

Called the Colorado Performance Concept, it’s been designed with the needs of a motorcyclist in mind. Carmichael says, “Where I take my bikes, a full-size truck isn’t always the best solution” and this is why the Colorado is “just the ticket” for him.

Both concept features and standard features help make this Colorado concept a boon to anyone who rides. There’s the CornerStep rear bumper, which has steps cut into each end to help you access the bed. Additionally, the concept tailgate expander helps secure bikes.

The Colorado Performance Concept looks great too, sporty and utile. The color is matte gray and it’s got yellow accents on the side. It sits on 17-inch aluminum wheels dashed with yellow.

As cool as this concept looks, if you want to experience the production model, stop by Carter Chevrolet to test drive a new Colorado today!
