2022 Chevrolet Bolt EV
Change can be scary. Take changing your socks, for example. You’ve been walking around in the same sweaty socks, and you know your dogs are just going to stink to high heaven once those bad boys come off and your little tootsies are out there wiggling in the breeze. (Side note: Change your socks regularly, people. It’s just common sense, and it saves relationships.)
But change is necessary, even when it’s scary. Chevrolet has a long history of helping drivers make big changes, and it’s doing it once again with the all-new 2022 Bolt EV. Think you’re ready to make the jump to an electric vehicle but need a little bit more assurance? Chevy has your back with its brand-new Bolt EV.
Don’t Sweat Going The Distance
If one of the reasons you’re on the fence about going electric has to do with range, the 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EV should be a breath of fresh air. (Literally! Because zero emissions!) On a full charge, the electrifying Bolt EV can go 259 miles before needing to recharge.1 To give you an idea, that’s enough to drive to Oklahoma City and back three times over with mileage left to stop for fried chicken. That means that you’ll have no trouble covering your daily driving in Okarche.
And you can also do away with any fears that the Bolt EV might be less fun to drive than a car that you fill with stinky gas. Its electric motor generates 200 horsepower and 266 lb-ft of torque, which means you’ll go from 0-60 in 6.5 seconds.2 And with Sport Mode, you might even forget that the Bolt EV doesn’t have a traditional engine — until you realize how quiet it is. (Unless you’re jamming out to some tunes, that is.)
The Juice Is Loose
Okay, but what about charging, you ask. The 2022 Chevy Bolt EV makes that nice and easy, too. The all-new Bolt EV has a built-in 11.5-kilowatt onboard charging module that’s capable with 120-volt and 240-volt chargers. If you want to upgrade to a Level 2 charger, which allows your Bolt EV to fully charge in seven hours,3 Chevrolet will even cover the cost of installation.4
What about when you’re on the go, you also ask. Gee, you sure do have a lot of questions — but Carter Chevrolet loves answering them! The myChevrolet Mobile App with Energy Assist gives you an accurate range assessment based on real-world factors and directs you to the nearest charging station. They’re closer than you think — Chevrolet uses a charging network that’s 40,000 stations strong and growing all the time. That includes high-speed DC Fast Chargers, which let you recover up to 100 miles of range in just 30 minutes.5
The Smart Play
With all that out of the way, the 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EV offers just about everything you could expect of a car regardless of what’s under the hood. You’ve got cozy seating for up to five people and a maximum 57 cubic feet of cargo space with the second row folded flat. So that means the all-new Bolt EV is cut out for everything from road trips to shopping sprees.
Staying connected? Also a breeze. The Bolt EV gets the new Chevrolet Infotainment 3 system with a 10.25-inch-diagonal touch screen as well as Wireless Apple CarPlay® and Wireless Android Auto™. Safety? Of course. The Bolt EV is standard with Chevy Safety Assist, which includes technologies like Automatic Emergency Braking and Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning.
And as if that’s not all enough, the 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EV just looks super cool. It’s a fun, stylish, sporty little thing that’ll grab attention wherever you. Especially with cool colors like Ice Blue Metallic and Cherry Red Tintcoat.
Change is good, and change looks and feels good with the 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EV. Far more fun than changing your socks, you’ll love the way the Bolt EV drives. Experience it for yourself at Carter Chevrolet in Okarche, Oklahoma, and see just how easy big changes can be.
