2014 Chevrolet Tahoe

Be on the lookout in the future for the 2015 Chevy Tahoe. The new Tahoe will have a PPV (Police Patrol Vehicle) counterpart which is sure to stop crime. It will be an automatic four-wheel-drive pursuit vehicle, and will come with special improvements in its powertrain, interior, exterior, and more, all specifically designed for law enforcement purposes.

The Tahoe PPV will feature an EcoTec3 engine that boasts 355 horsepower and 383 lb.-ft. of torque, providing greater and more powerful acceleration. This, along with its Hydra-Matic 6L80 six-speed automatic transmission, allows the PPV to perform better during high-speed pursuits.

“The Tahoe PPV’s versatility and low lifecycle cost have made it a leader among police agencies,” says U.S. vice president for Fleet and Commercial Sales for Chevrolet, Ed Peper. “The enhancements to the 2015 model have further refined an already great vehicle to give police officers the performance, speed and safety they need to help keep their communities safe.”

Hopefully you’ll never have to see one of these Tahoe PPVs lit up and following behind you, or have the opportunity to see the inside of one, unless of course you are involved in law enforcement. But you can check out the regular version of the 2015 Chevy Tahoe at Carter Chevrolet today!
