2014 Corvette Stingray Named Most Efficient
If you’re looking for a highly powerful and fuel-efficient sports car, look no further than the new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. The Stingray pushes out 455 horsepower and gets an amazing 17 miles per gallon in the city and 29 miles per gallon on the highway, completely racing past any other sports car on the market. This car is unique—no other sports car can offer these kinds of numbers together.
Among its high fuel efficiency and tremendous horsepower, the 2014 Corvette Stingray is equipped with a new seven-speed manual transmission and optional “Eco” mode with Active Fuel Management, enabling the EPA estimate of 17 city and 29 highway miles per gallon. The car also comes in a six-speed automatic transmission as well.
You’ll be able to buy one of these bad boys when the coupe goes on sale this fall, or you can wait for the convertible to come out, expected by the end of the year. Until then, check out this great video courtesy of Chevrolet that outlines the amazing features of the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray.
