2014 Chevrolet Malibu is a Top Safety Pick+

Surprise! Surprise! The Chevy Malibu has always been one of the safest, most reliable sedans on the market, and once again, we know this to be a proven fact. Recently, the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) named the all-new 2014 Chevrolet Malibu a Top Safety Pick+, one of the highest achievements in the industry.

Vehicles with this honor have received top marks in crash worthiness as well as frontal crash prevention, which differs from the Top Safety Pick Rating. The Pick+ rating incorporates the frontal crash protection system rating, which the Malibu passed with flying colors, receiving a “Good” rating in all five tests. For the past four years, the sedan has been named a Top Safety Pick, but this is the first time it has been named a Top Safety Pick+.
