But while we try to avoid casting dispersions, we have to ask this question if you’re looking at a 2021 Nissan Titan instead of a Chevrolet Silverado 1500: Why?

More Power, More Capability

Nissan serves up exactly one engine with its Titan: a 400-horsepower V8. Not only does the Silverado have the Titan’s number in terms of variety with six engines to one, but it also gives you more power. At the top of the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 lineup is the 6.2-liter EcoTec3 V8, an absolute boss of an engine that cranks out 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. And with this engine equipped, the Silverado can tow up to 13,300 pounds — which is a full ton and then some more than the Titan.
Better Bed, Better Tailgate
Not enough? If you’re loading up the bed with mulch, overpriced lumber, or delicious fried chicken (live your life), you’ll have more space with the Silverado 1500 thanks to Durabed.
