Check out the 2024 Chevrolet trailering packages to find the right gear for your goals.
The trailering package available for the 2024 Chevrolet Colorado includes a 2-inch receiver hitch, 4-pin, and 7-pin connectors. It also features a 7-wire electrical harness with a 7-pin sealed connector to allow you to coordinate the vehicle’s brakes and lights with the trailer. If you’re towing a trailer that doesn’t have its brakes, you can also use this package’s 4-way sealed connector to accommodate parking, brake, and turn signal lights. The Colorado Trailering package also comes with an automatic locking rear differential.
Trailering Package
The Silverado 1500 Trailering package builds on the Colorado Trailering package with the addition of a Hitch Guidance tool to simplify the act of connecting the trailer to your truck.
Max Trailering Package
If you have seriously weighty trailers to move, the Silverado 1500 Max Trailering package makes the most of your truck’s muscle. This package equips the Silverado with the Handling Suspension package, and it also increases the truck’s gross axle weight rating along with its gross combined weight rating. The package adds enhanced springs, an upgraded cooling radiator, a trailer brake controller, improved shock tuning, and an automatic locking rear differential as well.
Trailering Package
For Chevy’s heavy-duty option, this package includes the gear found in the Silverado 1500 Trailering package, while it swaps out the 2-inch receiver hitch with a 2.5-inch receiver with a 2-inch insert. It also adds a trailing hitch platform.
Max Trailering Package
For your most extraordinary towing situations, the Silverado HD Max Trailering delivers the added equipment you need to hitch your trailer with confidence. This package enhances load-bearing potential with a 3500 HD frame and leaf springs, and it upholds a steady ride quality with the contents of the 3500 HD Shock Package. The Max Trailering package also features Gooseneck/5th Wheel Prep gear as well as a 12-inch rear axle.
