Lifted Trucks for Sale in Oklahoma: Factory-Lifted Trail Boss & ZR2

Factory-Lifted Trucks · Okarche, OK
Factory-Lifted Chevy Trail Boss and ZR2, In Stock in Okarche
Quick answer: Carter Chevrolet in Okarche, 30 minutes northwest of Oklahoma City, usually has 20-plus factory-lifted Chevy trucks on the ground: Silverado 1500 Trail Boss and ZR2, Silverado 2500 HD ZR2, and we can get Colorado Trail Boss and ZR2. These are lifted by Chevrolet at the factory, so the lift is covered by the full new-truck warranty, finances like any other new truck, and doesn’t come with a shop’s kit bolted underneath. No doc fees, priced to the market, delivered to your driveway anywhere in Oklahoma.

Let’s clear something up first, because a lot of “lifted trucks for sale” pages won’t. We don’t run a lift shop. Our sister company next door, OEM Truck Equipment, builds service bodies and flatbeds, not suspension lifts. What we do have is one of the biggest selections of factory-lifted Chevrolet trucks in Oklahoma, and for most people shopping for a lifted truck, that’s the better truck to buy. Here’s why, and here’s what’s on the lot.
Factory Lift vs. a Lift Kit: The Honest Version
Factory-lifted (Trail Boss, ZR2)
- Lift is engineered and installed by Chevrolet. Covered by the full 3-year/36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper and 5-year/60,000-mile powertrain warranty.
- Ride quality, steering geometry, brakes, stability control and the tow ratings are all calibrated for the lift. It drives like a new truck because it is one.
- Finances at new-truck rates with normal terms. Insurers don’t blink.
- Resale holds up. Trail Boss and ZR2 are trims buyers search for; “lifted, aftermarket” is a question mark.
- In stock. Drive it home today.
Aftermarket lift kit
- Can go taller. If you need 6 inches and 37s, the factory won’t get you there.
- Warranty gets complicated. GM won’t cover a failure the lift caused, and “caused” is an argument you don’t want to have.
- Ride, alignment and driveline angles depend on who did the install and how well. Some are great. Some eat ball joints.
- Tow and payload ratings on the door sticker no longer mean what they say.
- Costs extra on top of the truck, and most of that money is gone at trade-in time.
Our take: if a 2- or 3-inch lift on 33s or 35s gets you the look and the clearance you want, buy it from the factory and keep the warranty. If you want a truck that looks like it belongs in a monster truck show, we’ll sell you a great truck to start with, but the lift is between you and a shop you trust.
What’s on the Lot: Every Factory-Lifted Chevy

Silverado 1500 Trail Boss (Custom and LT)
- Lift: 2-inch factory
- Tires: All-terrain
- Shocks: Z71 monotube
- Lockers: Rear (auto-locking available)
- Engines: 2.7L TurboMax standard on Custom; 5.3L V8, 6.2L V8 and 3.0L Duramax diesel available on LT
The volume seller and the best value on this page. Two-inch factory lift, Autotrac two-speed transfer case, skid plates, red tow hooks, raised hood. The Custom Trail Boss is the entry point and the best-looking work truck money can buy. The LT Trail Boss adds the nicer interior, bigger screen, and opens up the V8 and diesel. As of late September 2026 we’ve got more than a dozen on the ground, Customs from the high $50s and LTs from the low $60s into the mid $70s depending on engine and packages.

Silverado 1500 ZR2
- Lift: 2-inch factory
- Tires: 33-inch Goodyear Wrangler Territory MT
- Shocks: Multimatic DSSV spool-valve
- Lockers: Front and rear electronic
- Approach: 33.5°
- Tows: 8,700 lbs
Same lift height as the Trail Boss, completely different truck underneath. The Multimatic DSSV dampers are the same family of shock that runs on the Colorado ZR2 and the Camaro ZL1, and they’re the reason a ZR2 rides better on washboard county roads than a stock truck does on pavement. Front and rear lockers, big skid plates, a dedicated Terrain Mode. If you actually leave the road, this is the one. Usually three or four in stock, mid-$70s.

Silverado 2500 HD ZR2
- Lift: 1.5-inch factory
- Tires: 35-inch Goodyear Wrangler Territory MT
- Shocks: Multimatic DSSV
- Lockers: Rear electronic
- Engines: 6.6L V8 gas (401 hp / 464 lb-ft) or 6.6L Duramax diesel (470 hp / 975 lb-ft)
- Tows: Up to 16,000 lbs gas, 18,500 lbs diesel
The one for people who tow a gooseneck to the lease and want to look good doing it. Thirty-fives from the factory, heavy-duty steel skid plates, and it still carries a real HD tow rating because Chevrolet engineered the whole package. We typically have one or two on the lot; around $80K.
Colorado Trail Boss and Colorado ZR2

- ZR2 lift: 3-inch factory, 33-inch mud-terrains, Multimatic DSSV, front and rear lockers

The midsize versions of the same idea, and the Colorado ZR2 has the tallest factory lift Chevy sells at three inches. These move fast and we don’t always have one sitting here. If you want one, tell us the trim and color and we’ll locate it or order it, usually within a few weeks, at the same no-doc-fee price.

Why Buy a Lifted Truck From Carter
Selection
We stock Trail Boss and ZR2 deep because they sell here. You can walk the row and compare a Custom Trail Boss, an LT Trail Boss with the diesel, and a ZR2 side by side. Most metro stores have one or two.
No doc fees, no addendums
Lifted trucks are where some dealers hide a “market adjustment.” Not here. The price online is the price, plus tax, title and license.
Priced to the market daily
Every truck is priced against what the same truck actually sells for regionally, using Cox Automotive data, and we adjust as the market moves.
Driveway delivery
Pick it online, sign electronically, and we’ll deliver anywhere in Oklahoma or into the Texas panhandle. A lot of our ZR2 buyers never see Okarche.

Serving Oklahoma City and Everywhere Around It
We’re in Okarche on Highway 81, about 30 minutes from northwest OKC, 15 from Kingfisher and Piedmont, 20 from El Reno, 25 from Yukon. Buyers come from Edmond, Norman, Mustang, Guthrie, Enid, Stillwater and Lawton, and a good share of them have us bring the truck to them. Trade-ins welcome, and we’ll buy your truck even if you don’t buy ours.
Financing a Lifted Truck
Because the lift is factory, a Trail Boss or ZR2 finances exactly like any other new Silverado: same rates, same terms, same Chevrolet incentives when they’re running. We shop your loan across our credit union partners and GM Financial and show you the options side by side. Apply online, or check the current specials page for this month’s Silverado offers. If you’re weighing a lifted 1500 against a stock one, our Silverado 1500 trim guide lays out what each step up costs.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are these trucks lifted at the factory or by the dealer?
At the factory. Trail Boss and ZR2 are Chevrolet trim levels with the lift, tires, shocks and skid plates engineered and installed by GM on the assembly line. Carter Chevrolet does not install aftermarket lift kits.
Does a factory lift affect the warranty?
No. Because the lift is part of the truck as built, the full 3-year/36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper and 5-year/60,000-mile powertrain warranties apply to the whole truck, suspension included. An aftermarket kit can give GM grounds to deny a related claim.
How much lift do Trail Boss and ZR2 have?
Silverado 1500 Trail Boss and Silverado 1500 ZR2 both have a 2-inch factory lift. The Colorado Trail Boss is 2 inches, the Colorado ZR2 is 3 inches, and the Silverado 2500 HD ZR2 is 1.5 inches on 35-inch tires.
Can I put a bigger lift on a Trail Boss or ZR2 later?
You can, through an aftermarket shop, but at that point the warranty on affected components and the factory tow ratings no longer apply. If you know you want 6 inches and 37s, it’s usually cheaper to start with a standard 4×4 and lift it than to pay for a ZR2 and replace its suspension.
What’s the difference between Trail Boss and ZR2?
Same 2-inch lift on the Silverado 1500. The Trail Boss uses the Z71 off-road package with monotube shocks and a rear locker. The ZR2 adds Multimatic DSSV dampers, 33-inch mud-terrain tires, front and rear lockers, bigger skid plates and a dedicated Terrain Mode. The Trail Boss is the better value for a daily driver; the ZR2 is the better truck if you actually go off-road.
Do you have lifted trucks in stock right now?
Usually 20 or more between Silverado 1500 Trail Boss, Silverado 1500 ZR2 and Silverado 2500 HD ZR2. Colorado Trail Boss and ZR2 come and go quickly; if we don’t have one, we’ll locate or order it. Our inventory page shows every unit with its real price.
