How to Use It — Step by Step
- Walk up to the driver-side door of your Tahoe.
- Tap the Key Card against the marked reader on or near the driver-side door handle.
- The door unlocks and a short countdown timer (about 2 minutes) appears on the center display.
- Get in, press the brake, and push Start — just like a traditional key.
- If the timer runs out before you start the engine, just tap the card at the reader again to reset it.
- To lock the Tahoe, turn the engine off, step out, and tap the card at the reader once more.
