2019 Chevrolet Blazer

You probably remember the Chevrolet Blazer name from a few decades ago. Now, the name is making a comeback in a bold, new form. The 2019 Chevrolet Blazer is an assertive, mid-size SUV that fits in the Chevy lineup between the Equinox and the Traverse.

The Chevrolet Blazer is available in four trim levels: L, LT, RS, and Premier.

Powertrains and Performance

The base engine is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine rated at 193 horsepower and 188 lb-ft of torque. It comes paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. For drivers looking for more power, there is an available 3.6-liter V6 with 305 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque. This engine is available with either front- or all-wheel drive.

When properly equipped with the optional tow package, the Blazer is able to tow up to 4,500 pounds. With the base engine, the Blazer achieves 22 mpg in the city, 27 mpg on the highway, and 24 mpg combined.*

Interior Design

The Blazer has seating for up to five passengers in two spacious rows. The rear seats slide and recline for extra comfort. It also comes with plenty of storage space. Behind the rear seats there is 30.5 cubic feet. Fold-down the second row and this expands to 64.2 cubic feet.
