The 2023 Silverado offers between 69 and 139 cubic feet of space, depending on whether you’re looking at the single, double, or crew cab variants. It can comfortably seat between two and six adults and offers plenty of modern luxuries and creature comforts.
While the Work Truck variant offers a spartan cabin with the bare necessities, stepping up to LT and above avails you of climate control, a touchscreen infotainment system, and a powered driver and passenger seat. You can also have dual-zone climate control, heated seats, a heated steering wheel, and seven-speaker Bose audio system if desired. Large cupholders, storage compartments, and an optional storage compartment beneath the rear seat are also on offer.
The 2023 Silverado HD carries over its looks from the previous model year and looks imposing with its 79.8-inch height. Its overall length varies between 235 and 266 inches, depending on cab type and bed length. An imposing grille with chrome trim on some variants is flanked by LED headlamps. At the rear, the Multi-Flex tailgate offers six functions, including a step and work surface, in addition to a load stop.

Two engines are offered for the 2023 Chevrolet Silverado HD range. The standard engine is a 6.6-liter gasoline V8 that puts out 401 horsepower and 464 pound-feet of torque. This is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission.
However, step up to the turbocharged 6.6-liter Duramax diesel V8, and you've got 445 horsepower and 910 pound-feet of torque at your disposal. The transmission option on this engine is a class-leading 10-speed Allison automatic gearbox.
Either engine choice can be paired with rear- or all-wheel-drive, and you can choose between single or dual-wheel rear axles. Towing capacities range from 17,400 pounds for a gasoline variant with a single-wheel rear axle to 36,000 pounds for a diesel variant with a dual, rear-wheel axle.
