What sets this pickup truck apart from its rivals is the 2024 Chevrolet Colorado technology, which includes an 11.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system that is standard on all variants. One notch higher is the Turbo Plus, which makes 310 horsepower and 390 pound-feet of torque. It is standard on the Z71 and Trail Boss and available for the Work Truck and LT.
The ZR2 and ZR2 Bison get the top-of-the-line High Output engine with 310 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque. Like the Turbo Plus, it has a max trailering capacity of 7,700 pounds, which is the most in the midsize pickup truck segment.
Expect the ride of the Colorado to be stiff and rigid due to its solid rear axle with leaf springs for hauling and transport. But if you want to put your Colorado through its paces, add the ZR2 Off-Road package, which gives its Multimatic DSSV dampers and high-performance suspension systems, among others, for better overall handling.
